Poetry Writing Prompts

More than any other kind of writing, poetry is personal and heavily flavored with internal inspiration. So I don’t expect any of these poetry writing prompts to become your best or favorite works. They can, however, be good exercises for your poetic writing – pushing you out of your comfort zone or making you approach something in a different way.
