Want to Date a Writer? Don’t Misuse Homophones!

You had me at your proper use of "You're".

The only problem with this card is that the period and quotation are in the wrong place relative to each other. I guess ecards are like dating: sometimes, you have to compromise. If you like the message enough, you might send it with one punctuation error. On the other hand, the people who would enjoy the message are usually the types to correct the error… myself included.

A quick addendum: I recently found out that in the UK the period generally goes outside the quotation marks, which makes this a correctly punctuated European ecard. Now, we can enjoy this ecard cringe-free. We might even feel a slight tingle at our special knowledge!
